We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to own and evolve our cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and reliability practices. You'll partner closely with engineering teams to enable fast, safe delivery and help the company scale its systems efficiently. This is a foundational role at a company where infrastructure quality directly enables product velocity. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in cloud platforms and automation tooling with the communication skills to work effectively across the entire engineering organization.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform, with a focus on security, cost efficiency, and long-term reliability.
- Own CI/CD pipelines end-to-end, ensuring fast feedback loops, automated testing gates, and zero-downtime deployment practices for all production services.
- Implement and maintain comprehensive observability stacks including centralized structured logging, metrics dashboards, and distributed tracing.
- Define and enforce infrastructure security best practices including least-privilege IAM policies, secrets management, and network segmentation.
- Partner with engineering teams on capacity planning, autoscaling configurations, and disaster recovery runbooks to ensure system resilience.
What we're looking for
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS, GCP, or Azure at production scale under real traffic loads.
- Strong proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or AWS CDK for declarative, version-controlled infrastructure management.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD systems using GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar platforms that teams love to use.
- Deep understanding of container orchestration with Kubernetes, including networking models, resource management, and security contexts.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and prior experience with incident command, blameless postmortems, and systematic reliability improvement programs.
We offer top-of-market compensation with meaningful equity participation, comprehensive benefits including health and dental, on-call compensation, a $2,500 annual training budget, and a culture that treats infrastructure as a first-class product discipline with significant autonomy and a real voice in architectural decisions. We believe in investing in tooling that makes engineers' lives better and systems more reliable.
