Job description

We're looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our engineering team and help build the reliable, scalable systems our customers depend on every day. You'll work across the full technology stack, collaborating with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality software that solves real problems at scale. This is a unique opportunity to shape the technical direction of our platform and make a meaningful impact on millions of users.

What you'll do

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain production software services across backend and frontend layers using modern languages and frameworks.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, contributing thoughtful proposals that balance short-term delivery needs with long-term system health.
  • Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure high code quality and system reliability over time.
  • Debug and resolve production incidents quickly, perform root-cause analysis, and drive permanent fixes that prevent recurrence.
  • Mentor junior engineers, conduct thorough code reviews, and help establish team coding standards and engineering best practices.

What we're looking for

  • At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience shipping production services used by real customers.
  • Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, or Rust.
  • Experience with relational databases including SQL query design, indexing strategies, and schema migrations.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized deployment using Docker or Kubernetes.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote-friendly, distributed engineering team.

We offer competitive compensation including equity, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, generous paid time off, a flexible remote work policy, and a $2,000 annual learning budget to invest in your professional development. We also host biannual team offsites to build connections and celebrate our achievements together.
