What you'll do
- Design, develop, test, and maintain production software services across backend and frontend layers using modern languages and frameworks.
- Participate in architecture discussions, contributing thoughtful proposals that balance short-term delivery needs with long-term system health.
- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure high code quality and system reliability over time.
- Debug and resolve production incidents quickly, perform root-cause analysis, and drive permanent fixes that prevent recurrence.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct thorough code reviews, and help establish team coding standards and engineering best practices.
What we're looking for
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience shipping production services used by real customers.
- Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as TypeScript, Python, Go, Java, or Rust.
- Experience with relational databases including SQL query design, indexing strategies, and schema migrations.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized deployment using Docker or Kubernetes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote-friendly, distributed engineering team.
