Job description
We're hiring a Frontend Engineer who cares deeply about user experience and crafting polished, accessible interfaces. You'll collaborate with designers and backend engineers to build the visual and interactive layers of our product, ensuring that every pixel and interaction delights our users. This role offers significant ownership over the UI architecture and a real voice in design decisions.
What you'll do
- Build performant, responsive, and accessible web interfaces using React, TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks.
- Translate design mockups and prototypes into production-ready components with attention to micro-interactions and visual polish.
- Optimize application performance by profiling rendering bottlenecks, lazy-loading assets, and reducing bundle sizes.
- Collaborate with backend engineers on API contracts and GraphQL/REST endpoint design to support rich UI requirements.
- Champion accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) and ensure the product is usable by people with a diverse range of abilities.
What we're looking for
- Three or more years of experience building production web applications with React or similar component-based frameworks.
- Strong understanding of modern CSS, layout systems (Flexbox, CSS Grid), and responsive design principles.
- Experience with TypeScript and type-safe development practices in large-scale frontend codebases.
- Familiarity with frontend testing tools including Jest, React Testing Library, or Playwright for end-to-end coverage.
- A portfolio or examples of polished, well-crafted UI work that demonstrates both aesthetic sensibility and engineering rigor.
