What applying to Penn State University (Academic) usually looks like

Based on publicly available information, candidates applying through workday for Penn State University positions can typically expect an online application requiring a profile, resume upload, and possibly supplemental questionnaires related to education and experience. Given the large volume of open roles across areas like engineering, research, writing, and design, screening may involve automated resume parsing before human review. The process may include multiple stages, such as initial recruiter or HR screening, followed by hiring manager or committee interviews, and for technical or research-oriented roles, possible portfolio or work sample requests. Academic institutions using workday often incorporate additional steps like reference checks or credential verification. Response times vary, and candidates should be prepared for a potentially longer process typical of academic hiring cycles, along with periodic status updates through the workday candidate portal.

Based on publicly available information. LandEarly does not verify interview process details.
