Your next career opportunity
You will lead the coordination of large, multi-centre maternal fetal medicine trials that shape safer pregnancy care. You will partner with clinicians, researchers and students to deliver high-quality, GCP-compliant research across Western Health.
What you will deliver:
- Lead ethics, governance and contract processes to establish multi-site national and international clinical trials.
- Coordinate day-to-day trial operations, including recruitment, follow-up, monitoring and protocol adherence across participating sites.
- Manage trial budgets, investigational product logistics and reporting requirements for funders, sponsors and governance bodies.
- Oversee data systems, including REDCap databases, ensuring timely, accurate entry, validation, locking and secure storage.
- Support and develop trial staff, investigators and students through training, communication, stakeholder engagement and collaborative meetings.
You may be a great fit if you:
- Hold postgraduate qualifications in science, allied health, nursing, medicine or public health, or equivalent experience.
- Bring significant experience managing multi-site clinical trials or projects within hospital or health research environments.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of ICH GCP, NHMRC clinical trial policies and Australian research governance requirements.
- Use advanced skills in ethics and governance submissions, including ERM, and in preparing grant applications.
- Apply strong database and data management skills, ideally including REDCap and Microsoft Office applications.
- Balance strategic oversight with hands-on trial support, thriving in independent, complex and fast-paced research settings.
