What applying to University of Miami (Faculty) usually looks like

Based on publicly available information, candidates applying through workday for University of Miami faculty and staff roles can typically expect an online application requiring a profile, resume or CV, and often a cover letter or research/teaching statement given the academic and clinical nature of many positions. Applicants may be asked to complete supplemental questionnaires, submit references, and upload credentials or licensure documentation, particularly for clinical and academic roles. The process commonly includes an initial recruiter or HR screen, followed by one or more interviews with hiring committees, department chairs, or search committees, which may include multiple stages such as phone, video, and in-person or on-campus interviews. Background checks, credentialing, and reference verification are common for healthcare and faculty positions. Response times vary, and candidates should monitor the Workday portal for status updates throughout the process.
