Job description

About Us

We're a fast-growing fintech on a mission to redefine how Latin America manages its finances and this is your opportunity to be a crucial part of that transformation. Join a team of top talent from the world's leading fintech and tech companies, and help build a cross-border financial system that's modern, accessible, and built to scale.

Who we're looking for

This is ARQ's first dedicated Investment Advisor in Brazil. You'll build our advisory function from the ground up – sourcing clients, constructing portfolios, owning relationships, and writing the playbook every advisor we hire after you will follow. You'll sit inside the Wealth team, work directly with the founders, and own a book of business from day one.

What you'll do

  • Source and onboard advisory clients, drawing from ARQ's existing user base and from your own network and outbound efforts

  • Build and manage personalized portfolios across the products ARQ offers

  • Own the full client relationship lifecycle: discovery, onboarding, review, and retention

  • Bring insights from clients back to product to shape what ARQ builds next

  • Define what "an ARQ advisor" looks like – your standards, processes, and tooling become the template for every advisor we hire after you.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 3+ years in investment advisory, private banking, wealth management, or a multi-family office in Brazil

  • Fluent English – you'll work day-to-day with a team that operates across markets

  • Proven ability to source and convert clients on your own

  • Strong analytical skills and comfort building portfolios across multiple asset classes.

  • ANBIMA certifications (CPA-20 minimum, CEA preferred) and/or CVM-registered as AAI

  • The mindset of an owner: hungry, entrepreneurial, comfortable with ambiguity, and ready to build a business inside a business.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and benefits

  • Stock options, so you own part of what you build

  • Discretionary performance bonus

  • The latest tools and technology

  • A world-class team that will challenge and grow your skills

  • The opportunity to help build the best fintech app in Latin America

  • Office Policy: 3-4 days a week in-office

What applying to ARQ usually looks like

Based on publicly available information, candidates applying through ashby can generally expect a structured process that typically begins with an online application and resume screen, followed by recruiter outreach if there is interest. For roles at ARQ, applicants may encounter an initial phone or video conversation, followed by additional stages that could include skills assessments, technical or role-specific exercises, and interviews with team members or hiring managers. Ashby-based processes commonly allow candidates to track application status through an online portal, and communication may occur via email or automated updates. Response times vary depending on the role and volume of applicants, so candidates should be prepared for some uncertainty in scheduling. It is advisable to review the job posting carefully, tailor application materials, and prepare for both behavioral and role-specific questions that may arise during the process.
