Every median is a real percentile over the pay midpoints (the average of the min and max where a range is given) of listings we ingest from public job boards, within a rolling 90-day window. We publish no surveyed, modeled, or estimated pay — a role only shows a median once it has at least a handful of priced listings, and says so plainly otherwise.
