Job Description:
The Robbins College Advising Office is looking for the following skills & qualities in a work study student:
· Reliability. Work-study students must be at work at their specified times.
· Punctuality. Students must show up on time and leave at their designated time, not earlier.
· Ability to follow directions. Active listening when instructions are given
· Accuracy in work.
· Pride in work.
· Completion of assigned tasks in a reasonable amount of time.
· Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude toward work.
· Willingness to work. Ask if there is anything to be done rather than trying to avoid work.
· Courtesy in answering the telephone or inquiries made in office by staff, students, visitors, etc. Always try to be of help.
· Maintain CONFIDENTIALITY of the department. All records, especially student records, are to be held in strict confidence.
· Provide general office assistance and support
· Greet clients and visitors with excellent customer service; answer inquiries and provide information
· Maintain files and reports and ensure confidentiality of information
· Assist with various projects, activities or tasks as needed
· Ability to comply with Baylor University policies
· Maintain regular and punctual attendance
