Steel Fitter/Welder - Day Shift
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will be responsible for fitting and assembling various steel structures according to blueprints and specifications while maintaining high safety and quality standards
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine project requirements
- Measure, cut, and fit steel components according to specifications
- Align and weld steel components to create structural assemblies
- Verify measurements and alignments using precision measuring tools
- Install miscellaneous steel items such as stairs, handrails, and support structures
- Maintain quality control standards throughout the fitting process
- Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Coordinate with other trades and team members on project requirements
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition
