FAES | Academic Program AdministrationUnder the direction of the Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs, within the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES), and in support of the Academic Programs Team, this college-level position: has responsibility for primary operational management of the master schedule of course offerings on the Columbus Campus within the Student Information System (SIS), including communications with academic units, coordinating and processing course offerings in accordance with established curricular requirements and approved academic plans, and interacting with members of the University Registrar team; responsible for executing and supporting implementation of new processes, procedures, and platforms related to the Master Schedule of Classes and Course Catalog and training academic unit and college personnel on new systems and procedures.
- Interacts with the CFAES unit scheduling contacts within the academic units to maintain and update existing master schedules of course offerings within SIS.
- Provides guidance and procedural instruction to academic unit scheduling contacts regarding established scheduling processes and systems.
- Collaborates with academic units to identify scheduling options and implement adjustments consistent with established curricular and scheduling requirement.
- Provides solutions to address routine as well as unusual issues and questions without requiring instruction or supervisor approval.
- Assures adherence to curricular policies by auditing offerings according to established university and college policies.
- Interacts with CFAES Wooster Ohio State ATI scheduling coordinator, coordinators across the university, CFAES Academic Affairs team and academic unit leadership, providing central coordination of curricular offerings in accordance with college procedures.
- Manages the scheduling processes of Mid-West campus general assignment and college instructional spaces for class and non-class use.
- Maintains and updates web-based scheduling resources for both the master schedule of course offerings and activity and event scheduling.
- Collaborates to support scheduling processes and maintain scheduling resources for faculty and staff.
- Completes special projects and other duties as assigned in support of Academic Programs. This position may require travel within the state of Ohio and may also include working evening and weekend hours when necessary.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree and 2 years of related experience required. Post-secondary degree in a relevant field and 4-6 years of related experience preferred.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with and working knowledge of Ohio State University Systems including the Master Schedule of Classes, Student Information System (SIS), Room Matrix, Course Catalog (curriculum.osu.edu and CourseLeaf), OnCourse and OnBase Record Management systems, CarmenCanvas Learning Management System, Nuventive Improve.

The salary offer for this position will fall within the range of $17.50/hr - $22.86/hr. Offer is based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's experience and qualifications.
