About the Team
OpenAI’s LATAM Marketing team helps people understand how AI can benefit their lives and put that value into practice. We connect global product innovation with local consumer needs, culture and behavior across Brazil and Spanish-speaking Latin America, contributing to OpenAI’s mission of ensuring that artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity.
We bring together strategy and creativity across integrated campaigns, product launches, creators, social, partnerships and cultural experiences. Working with global and local cross-functional teams, we make AI’s everyday usefulness tangible and relevant to people across the region.
Our B2B work extends this mission to professionals and organizations through practical education, local customer stories and programs that support meaningful AI adoption at work.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on B2B Marketing Lead to build and lead B2B marketing across LATAM, with an immediate focus on Brazil. You will set priorities with International Expansion and local GTM teams, connect global B2B strategy with local needs, and turn those priorities into programs that help professionals and organizations understand and adopt AI. This role reports to the LATAM Marketing Lead.
You will combine customer insight, product understanding and strategic brand judgment with practical delivery across education, demand generation, customer stories, events and sales enablement. Working with Field Marketing and regional and global partners, you will build the capabilities, execution network and measurement practices needed to grow the program. This role is based in Brazil; São Paulo, hybrid model.
In this role, you will:
Own the LATAM B2B marketing plan, starting with Brazil: identify priority audiences, adoption barriers and opportunities, and align programs with International Expansion, GTM and global B2B objectives.
Translate product capabilities and global narratives into locally relevant use cases, campaigns and professional education, with accurate expectations about product capabilities and limitations.
Build local customer stories and practical examples with customers, Sales and Comms, ensuring the evidence supports the claims and the materials are useful to business audiences.
Design the partner, agency and vendor network needed to deliver the plan; define scopes, budgets, responsibilities and quality expectations with clear ownership.
Bring LATAM customer insights and market needs into global B2B planning, adapt shared assets and programs, and exchange effective approaches with other regions.
Lead integrated B2B programs with Field Marketing across customer events, executive engagement, content, demand generation and sales enablement, connecting each activity to a clear audience need and outcome.
Partner with Sales/GTM on audience and account priorities, campaign follow-up and measures of pipeline contribution; connect commercial objectives with customer education and adoption.
Coordinate B2B partner and developer-facing programs with Partnerships, partnership marketing and Developer Marketing, agreeing responsibilities and relevance to the B2B plan.
Establish planning and reporting routines, manage delivery dependencies and budget trade-offs, and use performance evidence to improve programs and recommend where to invest next.
What you bring
12+ years of marketing experience, including 5+ years in B2B marketing, ideally in technology, platforms or high-growth environments.
Proven experience building and delivering B2B programs in Brazil, with the ability to adapt strategy and execution across LATAM markets.
Deep understanding of business audiences and an insight-first approach, including enterprise buying dynamics, customer trust, local proof points and barriers to AI adoption.
Strong product marketing and storytelling skills. You explore products yourself and can translate complex capabilities into credible business use cases and clear customer value.
Experience partnering with Sales/GTM, Product Marketing, Comms and global or regional marketing teams, balancing shared strategy with local needs.
Hands-on experience across demand generation, field programs, customer education, content and sales enablement, including management of agencies, vendors and budgets.
Strong measurement and experimentation discipline, with the ability to connect activity to qualified engagement, pipeline contribution and adoption while explaining attribution limits.
A clear record of personal ownership: you can set direction, deliver high-quality work directly, build operating routines and make progress with incomplete inputs and limited resources.
Fluency in Portuguese, English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across local, regional and global teams.
Nice to have
Experience marketing AI or technical products, developing professional education or supporting business audiences connected to developer ecosystems.
Experience with partner-led programs, regulated or trust-sensitive industries, or a strong local network of B2B agencies and partners.
