Penn State Brandywine Campus Library is hiring part-time, undergraduate Student Library Assistants for Fall 2026.

Student Library Assistants support daily library operations by providing excellent customer service to library users, maintaining library spaces and collections, and assisting with a variety of administrative and operational tasks. This position is ideal for reliable, courteous, detail-oriented students who enjoy helping others and working in an academic environment.

This is a 5 - 10 hours/week position.

To be considered for this position, applicants must have received a Federal Work Study award for the 2026-2027 academic year and submit an online application with a resume.

The starting hourly rate for this job is $12.00.

 

 

Federal Work Study job performance is evaluated either annually or through ongoing mentorship. Students who received a Federal Work Study award have the opportunity to obtain a job and perform related duties either on campus, or remotely, if possible and at the discretion of the employer.  Students applying for Federal Work Study positions should clarify expectations with their potential employer regarding either on campus/in person or remote work arrangements.
