University Health Services (UHS) is seeking a compassionate, patient-focused Student Health Physician (Primary Care Physician) to provide high-quality medical care in a dynamic collegiate healthcare environment. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student well-being through comprehensive primary care services while working as part of a collaborative and supportive healthcare team.
Position Summary
University Health Services (UHS) invites applications for a full-time Student Health Physician (Primary Care Physician). Responsibilities include clinical assessment and treatment for acute illnesses, injuries, chronic problems, preventive care, and health counseling.
UHS remains committed to advancing student wellness while creating community, access, and belonging for all Penn State students. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, electronic medical record knowledge, and outpatient primary care experience, with college health experience preferred.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time, year-round position with some Saturday shifts during the fall and spring semesters. There is no overnight or weekend call.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
8+ years of relevant experience
Required Certifications:
Licensed Physician - Pennsylvania State Board of Medicine
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.Penn State does not sponsor or take over sponsorship of a staff employment Visa. SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $198,756.00 - $308,040.00.
