Job Summary
The Parking Enforcement Officer will enforce University Parking Rules & Regulations by patrolling assigned area and utilizing License Plate Recognition equipment. Issue citations for parking violations using handheld device with printer. Arrange for towing of vehicles and apply immobilization device when applicable. Provide campus direction & information regarding parking on campus. Assist with operational issues with the gated garage equipment.
What We're Looking For
Education and Experience Required:
- Requires a High School Degree or High School Equivalency (HSE)
- Valid driver’s license is required and must maintain a safe driving record
Skills Required:
- Must be able to work outdoors in all seasons in temperatures below 32 degrees and above 90 degrees
- Good verbal communication skills required
- Ability to:
- use sound judgement and work independently
- use, maintain, troubleshoot and correct equipment
Preferred:
- Knowledge of campus
