Remote Recruitment is hiring a Property Administrator for a UK employer, fully remote from South Africa.
Role overview
You will keep a portfolio of UK properties running: logging maintenance, booking contractors, tracking compliance certificates and answering landlords and tenants before they have to chase. It suits someone practical and unflappable.
You will work 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST) from home, with equipment guidance, a proper induction and a manager who is contactable through the day. This is a permanent role, not a short contract.
Key responsibilities
- Log maintenance issues and raise works orders with contractors
- Track jobs through to completion and close the loop with the reporter
- Monitor compliance certificates and book renewals before expiry
- Maintain accurate property, tenancy and contractor records
- Process invoices and support service charge administration
- Respond to landlord and tenant queries promptly
What you'll need
- Two or more years in property, lettings or facilities administration
- Experience with a property system such as Reapit, Fixflo, Arthur or similar
- Confident coordinating contractors and chasing to completion
- Clear, calm communication with landlords, tenants and suppliers
- Reliable home internet and a quiet space for UK-hours work
Nice to have
- Familiarity with UK gas, electrical and fire safety compliance
- Exposure to block or build-to-rent management
- Experience with service charge budgets
