  • Drive the entire lifecycle of the insurance sale from intake to quoting to fulfillment, navigating our panel of insurance providers.
  • Assist the Business Lead of Protect with the operational build-out of SoFi Protect products and services
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities and help close any coverage gaps.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to help further enhance the business.

We are a small team looking for someone who wants to be collaborative, identify problems, and have a voice in making the business better.

What you’ll need:

  • 2+ years of experience selling Property & Casualty Insurance
  • Must have valid state active licenses in Property & Casualty or Personal Lines insurance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven interpersonal and sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals are highly preferred
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized to meet deadlines on time
  • Ability to analyze members' needs and provide a tailored insurance solution
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and flexible with the ability to take an entrepreneurial approach to problem-solving

Nice to have

  • Independent agency experience working with broad range of insurance carriers
  • Servicing experience
  • Life insurance experience

What applying to SoFi usually looks like

Based on publicly available information, candidates applying through greenhouse for roles at SoFi can generally expect an online application followed by an automated confirmation, with response times varying depending on the role and team. The process commonly begins with a recruiter screen to review background and motivation, and may include multiple stages such as hiring manager conversations, technical or role-specific assessments, and panel interviews with cross-functional team members. Greenhouse-based processes typically allow candidates to track application status through email updates, though communication frequency can vary. Depending on the position, additional steps like case studies, coding exercises, or presentations may be requested. Candidates should generally prepare to discuss relevant experience, technical skills, and cultural fit, as these areas are commonly emphasized across greenhouse-managed hiring workflows in the financial services and technology sectors.
