The Graduate Assistant - Non-Teaching in the Center for Instructional Innovation & Technology Services will assist the department with maintaining the computer labs. Also supporting Faculty/Staff and students on campus.

The salary is determined in accordance with the University’s compensation structure and will be commensurate with the candidates’ education and experience, within the assigned salary range for this position. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist instructors and/or students as needed during their time in our computer labs and other labs as required.
  • Manage Panther CIC facilities, i.e. audio studio, podcast studio, checkout room.
  • Work with undergraduate student workers on day-to-day duties.
  • Configure A-V set for auditorium and/or smart classrooms.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in an applicable field.
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time graduate student at Prairie View A&M University. (Minimum of 9 credit hours during the regular fall and spring semesters and 6 semester credit hours for the summer semester).
  • Must be in good academic standing.
