- Teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the Department of River-Coastal Science and Engineering.
- Develop and deliver high-quality course content using evidence-based instructional practices.
- Maintain regular communication with students and provide timely feedback on assignments and assessments.
- Hold appropriate office hours and be available to support student learning and academic success.
- Adhere to departmental, school, and university policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with department faculty and staff as needed to support instructional and academic initiatives.
- Ph.D. in River and Coastal Sciences, Earth Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Civil or Environmental Engineering, Geology, Oceanography, Hydrology, Geography, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated teaching experience at the college or university level, or evidence of strong potential for effective teaching.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
