About the job

We're hiring a Marketing Strategy & Analytics Manager to join our global marketing analytics team, sitting alongside our Media Mix Modeling (MMM) data scientists and our regional analytics business partners (EMEA and APJ). This is a hybrid role: part senior business partner, part data scientist. You'll act as a trusted analytics advisor to marketing leadership — owning end-to-end analyses of funnel performance, campaign effectiveness, and marketing ROI — while also being fluent enough in MMM methodology to apply, extend, and translate our MMM outputs into decisions our regional and global marketing leaders can act on.

This role is ideal for someone who has grown from a strong analytics/BI background into applied data science, has direct exposure to MMM (Robyn, Meridian, or similar), and wants a role that blends storytelling and stakeholder influence with genuine modeling depth.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Strategy & Analytics Partnership: Act as the trusted analytics advisor to global and regional marketing leaders, translating business questions into analyses that shape budget, channel, and campaign decisions.
  • MMM Application & Translation: Apply and extend outputs from our MMM data science team — interpreting model results, running scenario/what-if analyses, and adapting them for regional nuance and stakeholder-specific questions.
  • Measurement & Funnel Analytics: Build and maintain incremental analyses that complement MMM (geo-lift tests, channel-level diagnostics, funnel and pipeline analytics) to validate and enrich model-driven recommendations. Own end-to-end analytics across B2B and B2C marketing funnels, from data pull through insight to executive-ready recommendation.
  • MMM Team Partnership: Partner closely with the central MMM data science team to ensure model assumptions, inputs, and outputs reflect real business context, and to prioritize the roadmap of modeling questions that matter most to the business.
  • Tooling & Scale: Write production-quality Python/SQL for data pulls, analysis, and light modeling; build reusable tools and dashboards that scale insight generation across the team.
  • Storytelling & Communication: Craft and deliver clear, compelling narratives and presentations for senior stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Finance.
  • Cross-Regional Collaboration: Partner with regional analytics business partners (EMEA, APJ) to ensure consistency.

Qualifications

Twilio values diverse experiences from all kinds of industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. If your career is just starting or hasn't followed a traditional path, don't let that stop you from considering Twilio. We are always looking for people who will bring something new to the table!

*Required:

  • The Hybrid Analyst: 6+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or data science, with a track record of directly influencing marketing strategy through data.
  • Technically Fluent: Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for analysis; comfortable working with large, messy marketing datasets.
  • MMM-Literate: Hands-on exposure to Media Mix Modeling concepts and at least one MMM tool or framework (e.g., Robyn, Meridian, or an equivalent regression/econometric approach) — you don't need to have built an MMM from scratch, but you can interpret, apply, and reason about one.
  • Statistically Grounded: Solid grounding in statistics and experimental design (e.g., regression, A/B testing, geo-lift/incrementality testing).
  • The Trusted Advisor: Demonstrated ability to partner with senior stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Finance) and turn analysis into decisions — not just dashboards.
  • Storyteller: Excellent communication and storytelling skills; experience presenting to both technical and executive, non-technical audiences.
  • Channel Fluency: Solid understanding of digital and traditional media channels and B2B/B2C marketing funnels.

Desired:

  • Prior direct experience building or co-building an MMM model, or working as an embedded analytics partner to an MMM/data science team.
  • Experience working on or with AI products (e.g., LLMs, copilots, RAG apps, workflow tools).
  • Prior experience in B2B marketing analytics, consulting, or an agency environment.
  • Experience working across multiple regions or in a global, matrixed organization.
  • Specify education, previous job experience, certifications, technical skills and soft skills required.

Location

This role will be remotely based in India (Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Maharashtra or Delhi).
