Location: UHealth Tower

Shift: Between the Hours of 5:45 AM - 8:30 PM (Variable Shifts - Including Alternating Weekends) 

The Department of Food Services has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Kitchen Sanitation Aide (U) position. The incumbent ensures cleanliness of assigned areas and equipment. Further, the Sanitation (U) disposes of waste in accordance with applicable guidelines and regulations to ensure institutional compliance.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS                                                                                           

  • Takes out the trash and replaces container trash bags.

  • Ensures applicable areas are properly stocked.

  • Cleans tile floors, restrooms, and equipment with approved chemicals.

  • Dusts and wipes applicable areas and vacuums carpeted floors.

  • Responds to service requests to address spills or other incidents.

  • Maintains applicable equipment in good working conditions at all times.

  • Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS                                                                                        

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
