Responsibilities:

General Purpose: Accountable for the provision of proficient patient care inclusive of complex patients. Assumes an expanded charge nurse role and assumes unit responsibility for orientation for new staff. May assume the role of care coordinator for a given group of patients, monitoring and evaluating patient care based on the unit standards of care. Actively involved in unit/service activities, contributing to outcomes from those groups.

FT position available, M-F Daytime hours.            

Exciting opportunity to become a collaborating team member with the University of Rochester Sleep Center. Duties include triage of patient calls/messages, assisting patients to maintain compliance with CPAP therapy, facilitating patient care, documentation within the medical record, and supporting patient flow throughout the clinic. Candidate must be able to collaborate with team members, be patient centered and possess a team approach to quality medical care.  Outpatient experience preferred. The Sleep Center is a growing clinic with opportunities for advancement within this role.
