Verdacert is a US-based certified translation company working in more than 100 languages, from Arabic, Farsi, Dari, Pashto, Urdu, and Turkish to Spanish and Chinese, for immigration, legal, university, and medical use. We're looking for a Content Marketing Intern to help write the guides people find when they search for what a USCIS, university, or DMV translation needs to look like. You'll learn how content is researched, edited, and measured at a company where accuracy matters more than volume.
About the internship
- Unpaid internship for a fixed term of 4 months, fully remote, open to applicants based in the United States
- Part-time and flexible, around 10 to 15 hours a week, scheduled around your classes or other commitments
- Built around your learning: a weekly one-on-one with a mentor on our team and feedback on everything you make
- We will complete the paperwork for academic credit wherever your school offers it
- You keep a portfolio of published work, and receive a reference letter when you complete the internship
- There is no expectation of a job at the end of the internship
What you will learn and do
- Research and draft guides and articles on certified translation, immigration documents, and credential evaluation, edited by our team before publishing
- Turn customer questions and support tickets into clear, plain-language explainers
- Check facts against official sources such as USCIS, the State Department, and university admissions pages
- Learn the basics of keyword research and how an article is written to be found
- Repurpose published guides into email and social snippets
Who we are looking for
- A current student or recent graduate in English, journalism, communications, marketing, or a related field
- Strong, clean writing and the habit of checking a claim before you make it
- The ability to explain a bureaucratic process simply
- A writing sample you're proud of
Nice to have
- Interest in immigration, law, or international education
- Speaking a second language
