About the role
This is your factory to run — production, people and performance.
Lead our Auckland factory at North Harbour and take full ownership of a busy manufacturing site.
You'll run production, lead the team and keep customer orders going out accurately, on time and to standard.
What you'll do
- Plan and manage production schedules to meet customer demand
- Lead, train and develop the production team
- Drive health and safety on site — hazards, inspections and incidents
- Manage maintenance schedules and minimise machine downtime
- Track output, efficiency and waste, and fix what's slowing the factory down
Requirements
- Factory or manufacturing management experience
- Proven people leadership — managing a production team
- Production planning and scheduling experience
- Strong knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act
- Machinery maintenance and asset management knowledge
- ERP/MRP system experience
- Full NZ driver licence
- A trade or engineering qualification, Lean Manufacturing experience or a health and safety qualification would be an advantage.
