What you will be responsible for:
- Pick/Pack customer orders with a high degree of accuracy
- Safely load steel products onto trucks using overhead cranes
- Ensure loads are secure, correctly sequenced, and match dispatch paperwork
- Work closely with the dispatch and warehouse teams to meet daily loading targets
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Follow all WHS procedures, including exclusion zones and load restraint requirements
Requirements
- Night Shift 4:00pm – 12:06am (30%loading)
- Overhead crane experience is a must
- Proven experience working in the steel distribution or similar heavy industry environment
- Working knowledge of Steel sections, Structural, Plate, Merchant and Tubular.
- Experience organizing and loading loading trucks that consist of a variety of steel products (plate, tubular, structural, etc.)
- A strong commitment to safety and teamwork
