About Faire

Faire is a technology wholesale platform built on the belief that the future is local. Independent retailers around the globe collectively represent a multi-hundred-billion-dollar wholesale market that has historically been fragmented and offline. At Faire, we're using the power of tech, data, and machine learning to connect this thriving community of entrepreneurs across the globe. Picture your favorite boutique in town — we help them discover the best products from around the world to sell in their stores. With the right tools and insights, we believe that we can level the playing field so businesses can grow and local communities can thrive.

We’re looking for smart, resourceful and passionate people to join us as we power the shop local movement. If you believe in community, come join ours.

About this role

We're looking for a strategic, analytical leader to drive growth and performance across our European and International business. In this role you'll personally own a high-impact portfolio of initiatives, doing the deep analytical work and driving execution yourself, while setting strategic direction and coaching a small team of individual contributors.

You’ll connect the dots across product and go-to-market, using analytics, customer insights, and opportunity sizing to decide where we invest and how we execute. You’ll partner closely with Product, Operations, Revenue, and Data Science, and become a trusted advisor to senior leadership across the business.

This is a player-coach role for someone who wants to shape strategy and also roll up their sleeves to deliver results. This role is based in London.

What you’ll do

  • Drive OKR attainment for the International team, owning strategy and execution for our Europe Top 8 priorities
  • Lead and develop a team of Strategy & Operations ICs through coaching, prioritization, and vision setting
  • Personally own key initiatives in Europe: identify opportunities that move company metrics, align cross-functional teams, remove roadblocks, and lead execution end to end
  • Prioritize GTM and Product initiatives based on impact, strategic importance, and complexity, and partner with Data Science to build and refine the models that support those decisions
  • Proactively identify opportunities that grow retailer lifetime value (LTV)
  • Drive forecasting, performance monitoring, and metric decomps, and surface the insights that matter most to leadership
  • Build effective, scalable operational processes and close operational gaps
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders across Product, Operations, Revenue, and leadership

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in consulting, finance (investment banking or private equity), or analytical business operations roles
  • Experience managing and developing people
  • Some experience partnering with GTM and Product teams
  • You are an exceptional creative problem solver. You can break down ambiguous problems and structure a path to an answer.
  • You are analytical and comfortable with data. You have strong analytical thinking and SQL knowledge, or the willingness to learn it quickly.
  • You have strong product and business intuition. You can place insights in the context of broader business goals.
  • You are a scrappy, resourceful executor. When something needs to get done, you remove roadblocks and find a way to make it happen.
  • You are highly collaborative and influence effectively through others
  • You are a clear, structured communicator, both written and verbal
  • You have a strong work ethic and an ownership mindset, and you stay calm and perform under pressure and tight deadlines
  • You embrace the adventure and do whatever it takes to ensure success

Salary Range

London: the pay range for this role is £141,000 to £193,500 per year.

This role will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. The base pay range provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Hybrid Faire employees currently go into the office 3 days per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and a third flex day of their choosing (Monday, Wednesday, or Friday). Additionally, hybrid in-office roles will have the flexibility to work remotely up to 4 weeks per year. Specific Workplace and Information Technology positions may require onsite attendance 5 days per week as will be indicated in the job posting.
