This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.

What you'll do at Figma:

  • Own the experiential strategy and end-to-end delivery of key areas of Config, translating company, audience, and program objectives into compelling in-person experiences

  • Partner closely with Figma's Brand Studio to translate Figma's brand and creative vision into IRL environments and experiential moments
  • Oversee program budgets and timelines, balancing creative ambitions with business and operational needs
  • Evolve the Config experience: help define what the next generation of Config looks and feels like, identifying new experiential concepts and opportunities that push the boundaries of what a user conference can be
  • Define success metrics and use audience and business insights to evaluate impact, identify opportunities, and inform future experiential strategy

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • 10+ years of experience in experiential marketing, event production, or related disciplines, with experience leading large-scale programs
  • Proven experience owning experiential strategy and production for large-scale user conferences or flagship events
  • Strong operations and program management skills - you know how to build frameworks that scale
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence across functions, including Marketing, Partnerships, Brand, Creative, and external agency partners
  • Operates effectively and efficiently amid shifting priorities and rapid change

While not required, it's an added plus if you also have

  • Experience using Figma

What applying to Figma usually looks like

Based on publicly available information, candidates applying through greenhouse can typically expect a structured process when applying to Figma. Applications are commonly submitted online, followed by an initial resume screen and possibly a recruiter phone conversation to discuss background and role fit. From there, the process may include multiple stages such as hiring manager conversations, skills-based assessments or portfolio reviews depending on the role, and panel interviews with team members. Response times vary, and candidates should not assume a fixed number of rounds, as this can differ by department and seniority level. Communication throughout the process is generally handled via email or the greenhouse platform, and candidates may be asked to provide references or complete additional exercises. Overall, applicants should prepare for a methodical, multi-step evaluation that emphasizes both technical and cultural fit.”
