LandEarly is looking for a Career Coach / Resume Reviewer to help job seekers put their best, most accurate story forward. In this role, you'll work directly with users to review resumes and cover letters, provide personalized coaching on job search strategy, and help ensure that the materials representing them are polished, honest, and effective. You'll play a key role in helping people feel confident and prepared as they navigate their job search.
What you'll do
- Review and provide detailed, constructive feedback on resumes and cover letters for a range of industries and seniority levels
- Coach job seekers on how to present their real experience clearly and compellingly, without embellishment
- Advise on job search strategy, application prioritization, and positioning for specific roles
- Help users prepare for interviews, including likely questions and how to frame their accomplishments
- Identify gaps or inconsistencies in a candidate's materials and suggest concrete improvements
- Stay current on resume best practices, ATS considerations, and hiring trends across industries
What we're looking for
- Experience in career coaching, resume writing, recruiting, or a related HR/talent field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to give clear, actionable feedback
- Ability to quickly understand a candidate's background and reframe it effectively for a target role
- Comfort working with clients across a wide range of experience levels and industries
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly around grammar, formatting, and factual accuracy
- Empathetic, patient approach to coaching people through a stressful process
Nice to have
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and how they parse resumes
- Experience coaching for technical, product, or design roles specifically
- Background in recruiting or talent acquisition at a company or agency
