LandEarly is looking for a Video Editor / Short-form Creator to help bring our product and customer stories to life across short-form video channels. You'll take raw footage, screen recordings, and ideas and turn them into fast, engaging videos that explain what we do and show it in action. This role is hands-on and fast-moving, suited to someone who loves cutting a strong hook and getting content out the door quickly.
What you'll do
- Edit short-form videos for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
- Turn product demos, customer testimonials, and raw clips into polished, on-brand videos
- Write and time captions, titles, and on-screen text to maximize watch time and clarity
- Source or create supporting motion graphics, sound design, and music beds
- Collaborate with marketing and design to plan a consistent content calendar
- Track performance of published videos and iterate on formats that work
What we're looking for
- A portfolio or reel demonstrating strong short-form editing work
- Proficiency in editing tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
- A sharp eye for pacing, hooks, and what keeps viewers watching in the first three seconds
- Comfort working independently and turning around edits quickly
- Basic motion graphics or animation skills
- Understanding of platform-specific best practices (aspect ratios, captions, trends)
Nice to have
- Experience editing product demo or SaaS explainer content
- Basic filming or shooting skills for capturing new footage
- Familiarity with analytics tools to track video performance
