Job description

At Linear, we're building the product development system for teams and agents. AI is fundamentally changing how software gets built, and we’re shaping the tools this new era requires.

Founded in 2019, Linear has become the platform of choice for more than 40,000 companies (including OpenAI, Coinbase, and Ramp) to plan, build, and ship their products. Today, our team is distributed across North America, Europe, and Australia, and we’re continuing to grow internationally. What unites us is relentless focus, fast execution, and a deep care for software craftsmanship.

Linear is in a unique position—we are profitable, which gives us the flexibility to invest thoughtfully as we grow. We want to build a company that scales well—not just in our product, but in how we run our GTM programs. In this role, you’ll design, own, and evolve the systems that power our sales, success, and marketing teams. You’ll take ideas from concept to execution, streamlining our tech stack, introducing automation and AI where it meaningfully improves outcomes, and building scalable workflows that help our customer-facing teams focus on high-impact work.

Location & work mode

Linear is a remote-first company, with optional co-working offices in San Francisco, New York, and London. This role is open to candidates based in North America (east coast) or London. We value deep focus and async collaboration, with intentional moments to connect in person through team off-sites, optional co-working, and occasional travel.

What you'll do

  • Increase the productivity of our Customer-facing teams through automation, AI, and process improvement

  • Execute and find ways to scale our PLG → PLS motions

  • Ideate new ways to go to market

  • Help the business make data-informed decisions through analysis and discussion

  • Work cross-functionally to keep leaders and departments informed and aligned with plans

  • Design and improve the process that our sales, success, and marketing teams run on

What we're looking for

  • 6+ years at a fast-growing SaaS company, ideally in a Revenue Operations, GTM Operations, or Systems role

  • Broad command of GTM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent, plus the surrounding sequencing and enrichment stack)

  • Comfortable moving between hands-on system work and higher-level thinking about process, strategy, and outcomes

  • Fluent in GTM metrics: pipeline, conversion, segmentation, win rate, and lifecycle

  • Comfortable with SQL and data, and pragmatic about where AI genuinely helps versus where it is a distraction

  • Able to operate in ambiguity, adjust priorities as the business evolves, and make pragmatic decisions with good judgment and common sense

  • A strong partner to Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and leadership, able to translate business needs into scalable process and systems

What we offer

We're a small, focused team that cares deeply about the quality of our work and the people we do it with. Here's what you can expect:

  • Competitive salary and equity

  • Employee-friendly equity terms including early exercise in the US and extended exercise windows

  • Daily meal and coffee stipend on every workday

  • Paid co-working space or desk

  • Health coverage (based on country requirements)

  • 5 weeks paid vacation, plus local statutory holidays

  • 4 months paid parental leave

  • Paid month off after 4 years & every 2 years thereafter

  • Regular team events and off-sites

  • Remote-first with no required commute

What applying to Linear usually looks like

Based on publicly available information, candidates applying through ashby can generally expect a structured process that typically begins with an online application and resume review, followed by recruiter screening if there is a match. Depending on the role, such as those at Linear, the process may include multiple stages, potentially involving hiring manager conversations, skills-based assessments or take-home exercises, and panel interviews with team members. Ashby-based processes commonly allow candidates to track application status through an online portal, and communications are often sent via email or the platform itself. Response times vary by company and role, so candidates should not assume a fixed timeline. It is generally advisable to prepare for both technical and behavioral style questions, as well as questions related to collaboration and role-specific competencies, since these are common components of processes managed through this ATS.
