Job description

This role is no longer accepting applications.

At Macmillan Learning, we're committed to driving innovation that transforms education. We seek team members who thrive on pushing boundaries, envisioning future possibilities, and building solutions that make a lasting impact. Whether you're a Pioneer shaping bold new ideas, a Builder turning possibilities into reality, or a Stabilizer optimizing for success, you'll play a vital role in advancing our mission. If you're excited by the prospect of testing new technologies, implementing transformative strategies, and thriving in a fast-paced, innovative environment, we'd love to hear from you!

As our Revenue Operations Lead, you'll own the relationships and processes that keep our vendor and contractor operations running smoothly. You'll be the go-to person for a third-party vendor supporting our sales organization, the point of accountability for contractor and personnel administration, and the backup coverage when things get busy on CRM and case queue work. You'll also train and support a Revenue Operations Coordinator, serving as their point of escalation on vendor and contractor work. This role covers a lot of ground, and it's expected to grow as our vendor relationships and tools evolve. Your work directly shapes how reliably our vendors execute, how accurately our contractor and personnel data flows, and how well-supported your team is day to day.

We know some talented people hesitate to apply when they don't check every box on a list. If this role has you excited and you believe you could do the work well, we want to hear from you, even if your path here doesn't match every requirement exactly. We're looking for people who care about our mission and bring their own perspective to the table. Different backgrounds, skills, and ways of working make us better at what we do. If this opportunity speaks to you, tell us how your experience and abilities could add value here. We want Macmillan Learning to be a place where everyone can do their best work and where different viewpoints are genuinely welcome, so if you're a qualified candidate, we hope you'll apply. We're looking forward to learning what you'd bring to the team.

What You'll Do

  • You'll serve as the primary point of contact for a third-party vendor handling administrative sales support, resolving the escalated cases they can't complete
  • You'll lead quality reviews of vendor-completed work, track performance, and flag systemic issues to Revenue Operations leadership
  • You'll own the vendor-facing knowledge base and training materials, keeping them current as processes change
  • You'll train and onboard Revenue Operations Coordinators on vendor and contractor administration processes
  • You'll own the end-to-end contractor onboarding and offboarding process, including system access provisioning and removal
  • You'll be the go-to contact for contractors and hiring managers on access, status, and process questions
  • You'll own processing of on-staff, off-staff, and transfer requests, plus MMI and candidate travel logistics
  • You'll design, build, and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards for Revenue Operations and Sales leadership
  • You'll provide backup coverage on CRM and case queue work during high-volume periods
  • You'll lead the annual territory update cycle, coordinating across Sales leadership and cross-functional partners to keep territory and account data accurate

What You'll Bring

  • Experience working with Salesforce or a comparable CRM
  • A track record of managing your own workload with limited day-to-day oversight
  • Experience handling complex or escalated issues and seeing them through to resolution
  • Clear, professional written communication skills, especially for process documentation
  • The ability to translate operational processes into documentation others can actually use
  • A demonstrated ability to work well across teams and with external partners
  • Some college coursework or equivalent hands-on experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience training others or providing instruction
  • Experience evaluating others' work and giving constructive feedback
  • Experience supporting or working alongside an outsourced or offshore team
  • Curiosity about or hands-on experience using AI tools to improve day-to-day work

$60,000-$65,000
