The Desautels Faculty of Management is inviting applications to teach a course in Fall 2026.  Please complete the online application form and upload required documents. Applications will be ranked according to the collective agreement between McGill University and the MCLIU. Preference will be given to the qualified applicant with the most priority points.

Teaching Qualification Requirements:


Education:

A graduate degree in computer science, data science, engineering, information systems, or a related discipline; or equivalent substantial professional experience
Strong practical knowledge of machine learning with large datasets

Experience:

Experience with cloud-based, parallel, or distributed computing environments
Hands-on experience developing or deploying production ML/AI systems
Familiarity with modern MLOps practices and tools for experiment tracking, pipelines, model deployment, monitoring, and reproducibility
Experience with relevant technologies such as Python, Spark, Docker, Kubernetes, MLflow, cloud ML platforms, or comparable technologies
An understanding of the architectural and organizational considerations involved in deploying AI at enterprise scale

Other:

The ability to translate technical concepts into applied learning experiences for graduate students
Industry experience building, deploying, or managing enterprise AI/ML products is particularly valued. Previous teaching experience is an asset but is not required for candidates with strong technical and professional experience.
