Position Summary

The Assistant Director, Admissions Processing oversees the comprehensive intake and logistical operations for all constituents across the enrollment lifecycle, from prospective students to new incoming undergraduates. Lead the transition of all digital and physical credentials into the University’s systems, ensuring the swift and accurate processing of a high volume of transcripts, test scores, and supporting documents. Manage a pool of over 150,000 annual applications, and is primarily responsible for the technical loading and processing of all undergraduate materials. Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external delivery logistics related to application completion and recruitment efforts. Working extensively within both the CRM (Slate) and the University’s SIS (PeopleSoft), oversee all data entry and error-resolution processes. Foster a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity among the whole team to ensure that all applicants' materials are processed with precision. 

Qualifications

Required Education:Bachelor's DegreeRequired Experience:2+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination. Experience managing processing functions at a high volume capacity.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Ability to communicate with a diverse population verbally and in writing. Ability to supervise staff. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software. Ability to thrive in a high volume organization with critical deadlines.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $77,000 to USD $84,700. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
