Position Summary

The Department Administrator will manage the operations and logistics of the On-Campus Recruitment Program and oversee and execute the employer onboarding process at NYU Wasserman Center for Career Development. In addition, this position is the Handshake employer operations expert and is expected to build expertise on the platform and design best practices for use. As the employer project manager, this position is essential in managing multiple projects and priorities to ensure a smooth and seamless experience for employers such as maintain records of student access; manage employer schedules in the Handshake system; communicate with students and employers leading up to interview day; create resume packet; manage and organize all logistics of interview day (including room set up, food, technology, etc.); maintain records of recruitment visits and appointment schedules, and resolve related problems in addition to leading all introductory communications and efforts with employers to achieve a successful onboarding experience, as well as managing the process of evaluating employers and jobs. The Department Administrator will also work closely with the Employer Engagement team on areas such as event planning, communications, and data management.

Qualifications

Required Education:Bachelor's DegreeRequired Experience:2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience managing systems and processes, communicating with a variety of stakeholders in a customer service role, and working part of a team.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Ability to communicate policies and procedures to a diverse group. Excellent organizational and problem solving skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service, and organization skills. Ability to solve problems and interact with individuals at all levels. Ability to work and communicate with diverse stakeholders. Strong teamwork abilities. Strong proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and presentation applications. Attention to detail with the ability to perform multi functions. Committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of work to support equitable access to career support and outcomes.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Must be well versed in quality data collection to ensure adequacy, accuracy and legitimacy of data in NYU systems and be able to strictly follow data privacy and security procedures for data handling and analysis to ensure adherence to legal and institutional standards.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $77,000 to USD $84,700. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
