The opportunity

We’re currently looking for an Intern as Business Support for our Financial Services Department. Someone to assist with administrative and reporting-related tasks as well as functioning as business support to the larger team. An exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

In this position within Financial Services, as a part of our Global Finance department, you will be part of a diverse team involved in a journey towards a more sustainable future. The team has the goal to provide financial services solutions, through best-in-class partners, that enable and support the achievement of Polestar’s sales, loyalty, and sustainability objectives.

This is a full-time, paid internship for ten months. Including great opportunities to learn and develop.

This position is based at our HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden. We believe in a hybrid model when it comes to remote and onsite work, knowing that both in-person collaboration and individual time to focus are needed. What matters most is that people get the time, and support, to do what needs to be done. And to enjoy doing it, of course.

The responsibilities

In this role, you will provide administrative support to the Financial Services team in a variety of matters, from non-complex to complex nature.

See below for a more thorough breakdown of the various tasks and areas you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing our administrative and reporting tools.

  • Implementing processes, maintaining procedures, and administrative systems.

  • Handling purchase orders and finance administration.

  • Organizing events, driving and supporting employee engagement activities.

  • Handling documentation and producing reports and presentations.

Further developing and motivating responsibilities may be added as the role develops within the organization

The ideal candidate

In order to succeed in this role, and at Polestar in general, there are a few characteristics you'll need to have. Tenacity. Flexibility. Curiosity. The ability to take the initiative, meet deadlines and requirements, and abandon ideas when they're not feasible.

We are looking for you who is a self-driven organizational master. An administrative- and service-minded star who works proactively towards results whilst collaborating in a dedicated way.

In addition, you'll need the following qualifications:

  • Focused on delivering high quality no matter the task

  • Curiosity to learn and drive to develop

  • Good written and oral communication skills

  • Strong skills in Excel with a mindset for driving automation and efficiency

  • A passion for learning more about Financial Services
