Job descriptionReq 1421555900

Job Summary

The Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering (ABE) and the Laboratory of Renewable Resource Engineering (LORRE) at Purdue University are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to work on funded research projects focused on the development and testing of computational tools capable of proposing synthesis routes (or “recipes”) that primarily use enzyme catalysis to make complex small molecule targets (e.g., pharmaceutical agents or monomers for bioplastics). These computational tools would identify ways to cost-efficiently manufacture complex target molecules and would improve our ability to synthesize a diverse library of complex chemical compounds for our drug- or polymer- discovery programs. The postdoctoral researcher will be supervised by Dr.Sankaranarayanan. Interested candidates should submit an application containing a cover letter detailing their qualifications and interest in the position and CV. The review of applications will continue until the position is filled.
