Remote Recruitment is hiring an Insurance Administrator for a UK employer, fully remote from South Africa.
Role overview
You will keep a broker or insurer book in good order: issuing policies, processing adjustments and getting renewals out on time so nothing lapses by accident. It suits someone accurate who likes a well-run book.
You will work 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST) from home, with equipment guidance, a proper induction and a manager who is contactable through the day. This is a permanent role, not a short contract.
Key responsibilities
- Issue new policies, endorsements and mid-term adjustments
- Prepare and send renewal invitations ahead of expiry
- Maintain accurate policy and client records
- Chase outstanding documentation and premiums
- Support brokers with quotes and market submissions
- Produce book reports for the account manager
What you'll need
- Two or more years in insurance or policy administration
- Experience with a broking or policy system such as Acturis, Open GI or similar
- Strong accuracy with policy wordings, dates and premiums
- Clear written English for client and insurer correspondence
- Reliable home internet and a quiet space for UK-hours work
Nice to have
- Exposure to commercial lines as well as personal lines
- Progress towards a Cert CII qualification
- Familiarity with FCA conduct requirements
