Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world's largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About Bridge

As a Stripe company, Bridge develops a fully integrated stablecoin platform to enable global money movement and operates as a Luxembourg-regulated Electronic Money Institution (EMI) and Crypto-Asset Service Provider (CASP). Organizations partner with Bridge to receive, store, convert, issue, and spend stablecoins, which allows them to expand into new markets, deploy innovative products, and transfer funds with greater speed and efficiency. Stripe provides the underlying financial infrastructure for these operations, supporting millions of businesses worldwide—ranging from global enterprises to high-growth startups—in accepting payments, increasing revenue, and capturing new commercial opportunities. Driven by a shared mission to grow the internet's GDP, we have a significant workload ahead. This offers you an opportunity to help expand access to the global economy while engaging in impactful work.

What you'll do

At BBSA, money movement is central, and the Customer Fund Reconciliation Manager plays a vital role in verifying that daily fund transfers across wallets and bank accounts are fully reconciled. As Bridge and Stripe develop an automated end-to-end reconciliation system, you assist the team in refining the workflow, adapting it to incorporate new product rollouts, investigating daily discrepancies, and analyzing unreconciled items to determine next steps. You use strong problem-solving skills to provide leadership with clear, precise summaries of daily reconciliation rates, highlight the primary drivers of discrepancies, and identify areas that require further review. Rather than a standard month-end controllership position, this is a technical operational role focused heavily on data analysis.

You collaborate with the Reconciliation product team in New York while directly supporting BBSA’s management group in Luxembourg. This position is located in Luxembourg.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the complete end-to-end automated reconciliation system from a technical and engineering standpoint
  • Manage and execute the daily investigation of unreconciled BBSA transactions
  • Prepare and submit daily reconciliation status updates to the authorized management team at BBSA
  • Support the continuous optimization of the Reconciliation platform by converting operational insights into clear remediation plans
  • Confirm that the automated end-to-end reconciliation workflow fully integrates all newly introduced BBSA products
  • Present reconciliation findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and external bodies, including the Board, Audit Committee, and CSSF

Who you are

We are seeking candidates who meet the core requirements for this position. If you meet these criteria, we look forward to your application. Note that preferred qualifications are an added asset, not a mandatory prerequisite.

Minimum requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in payment operations and reconciliations, including experience working with international companies
  • Strong SQL skills and comfort working across systems and handling large volumes of data. A live SQL assessment is part of the interview process
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, banking systems, and data structures
  • Experience working closely with engineers and accounting teams
  • High professional fluency in English

Preferred qualifications

  • EMI or PI experience
  • Solid understanding of blockchain and data structures
  • Experience working for a US company

What applying to Stripe usually looks like

Based on publicly available information, candidates applying through greenhouse for roles at Stripe can generally expect an online application requiring a resume and possibly a cover letter, followed by an automated confirmation email. Screening commonly starts with a recruiter or talent partner phone call, and the process may include multiple stages such as technical assessments, take-home exercises, or panel interviews depending on the role type. Communication is typically managed through the greenhouse platform, which may send status updates and scheduling links directly. Response times vary and candidates should not assume a fixed timeline. Interview formats often combine behavioral, technical, and role-specific evaluations, and additional conversations with cross-functional stakeholders or hiring managers are common. Applicants are encouraged to prepare for both technical depth and cultural fit discussions, as these are typical components of greenhouse-managed hiring processes.
