We are on a mission to pioneer the world’s next era of play. As we grow across Europe and Latin America, we’re building The Playstack - the technology powering the next generation of sports, gaming, and fan experiences. Join us, and help make it the most widely used platform in the world! From operations, to marketing, to product, we are looking for talented people who will shape how millions of customers play, watch, and connect every day.

We're looking for an AI Automation Engineer who can help us build AI-native enterprise products through combining software engineering, AI, automation platforms and enterprise integrations to design, build and operate production solutions.

What the role involves

  • Design, develop, and maintain AI-driven and automation solutions integrated with enterprise business applications.
  • Contribute to the engineering standards, patterns, and best practices for AI and automation within the tribe.
  • Collaborate with PMTs, functional consultants, and business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, testable, and production-ready.
  • Support continuous improvement of DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and operational processes.
  • Build and configure automation workflows (e.g., process automation, integrations, orchestration).
  • Develop and integrate AI capabilities such as copilots, agents, document processing, prediction, or classification models.
  • Implement APIs, connectors, and event-driven integrations between business applications and external systems.
  • Apply engineering practices including version control, automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Monitor solution performance, reliability, and cost, and proactively address issues.
  • Produce technical documentation and solution designs.
  • Participate in incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Support controlled rollouts across environments (DEV, TEST, UAT, PROD).

What we are looking for

  • Minimum BA, preferably Master
  • Proven experience as a software, automation, or platform engineer in enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience building and operating production AI and automation solutions
  • Hands-on experience with automation platforms such as n8n, Power Platform, UiPath or similar, low-code/no-code tools, or workflow engines.
  • Experience designing and implementing integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, authentication (OAuth), event-driven architectures and enterprise business applications
  • Experience integrating LLM capabilities into production systems (e.g. Claude), including orchestration, prompt engineering, document processing, agents or similar AI workflows.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, source control, environment management).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (RPA, Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, Google Ecosystem, n8n).
  • Experience working in agile or product-oriented delivery models
  • Engineering mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to design end-to-end technical solutions, selecting the appropriate combination of AI, automation platforms and custom software based on the problem.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solver with a continuous improvement desire.
  • Comfortable working in a changing environment and helping shape new ways of working.
  • Willingness to mentor others and contribute to team maturity.

This role is based in Zagreb or Bucharest, as it requires hybrid work.
