The Department of Utilization Management is currently seeking a full time Project Manager 1 to work hybrid in Miami. The Project Manager 1, SCCC (H), supports the planning, execution, and tracking of SCCC projects under the guidance of senior staff. Manages small to moderately complex projects, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and timely delivery.

CORE RESONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborates with leadership to define project scope and objectives. 

  • Assists in establishing project success criteria and evaluation methods. 

  • Supports project planning, scheduling, and documentation under the guidance of supervisor, project sponsor, and senior staff. 

  • Assists with meeting logistics, preparation of agendas, note-taking, and action-item tracking. 

  • Supports workflow documentation efforts and identify process gaps. 

  • Identifies basic resource needs and coordinates availability. 

  • Develops and maintains project plans, timelines, and task lists. 

  • Reviews schedules with stakeholders and adjusts as needed. 

  • Monitors project progress and escalates issues when necessary. 

  • Assigns tasks and tracks completion across the project team. 

  • Supports team management in accordance with organizational policies. 

  • Reviews deliverables for quality and compliance with standards. 

  • Maintains organized and secure project documentation. 

  • Communicates project updates to stakeholders on a regular basis. 

  • Prepares and presents basic status reports to leadership. 

  • Establishes and continuously assesses the effectiveness of the internal controls within the unit and compliance with University policies and procedures. Ensures employees are trained on controls within the function and on University policy and procedures.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required

Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required
