Job Description

The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine has an outstanding opportunity for an Intermittent Administrative Assistant 1 to join their team.

About this Opportunity

Reporting to Katherine Bournelis, the Administrative Assistant 1 is responsible for providing excellent administrative and clerical support to the UW Employment Program.

This is a 100% onsite opportunity, but in a non-essential position.

The hourly range for the Administrative Assistant 1 is $21.70 - $25.55/hr and this position is expected to work about two hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

Assist office staff with shredding (70%):

  • Shredding includes turning on the shredder, removing binder clips/paperclips or other non-shreddable materials.
  • Sorting out non-shreddable materials.
  • Alerting staff member if shredder is stuck, full, or otherwise inoperable.

Assist office staff with basic office maintenance (25%):

  • Wipe down high touch surfaces such as tables and door knobs.
  • Interact with co-workers in a professional and responsible manner.

Perform other duties as required (5%).
