What applying to Airbnb usually looks like

Based on publicly available information, candidates applying through greenhouse can typically expect an online application requiring a resume and possibly a cover letter, followed by an automated confirmation email. For Airbnb, the process may include multiple stages such as an initial recruiter screen, one or more hiring manager conversations, and role-specific evaluations like technical exercises, portfolio reviews, or case studies depending on the position. Panel interviews or virtual onsite loops are commonly used later in the process, often covering behavioral, functional, and cross-team collaboration topics. Response times vary and communication is generally handled through the platform or email, with status updates sometimes delayed during high-volume periods. Candidates can generally expect transparency about next steps, though specific timelines and interviewer details are not guaranteed and may differ by team, role level, or department within the organization.
