Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop application software, device drivers for hardware control, and communication software for customers’ host systems.
- Define development specifications and create required engineering documents.
- Investigate faults, defects, and bugs occurring at customer sites or manufacturing sites, and propose fixes and functional improvements.
- Review customer requests and specifications, and propose appropriate technical solutions.
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong software engineering knowledge with programming experience in C, C++, and/or C#.
- Language Requirements: Japanese: Fluent , English: Business level
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a project leader or project manager.
- Experience in the semiconductor or FPD (Flat Panel Display) industry.
- Knowledge of fieldbus technologies such as DeviceNet or EtherCAT.
