Job descriptionReq 4675400101

Brainlabs is the independent, founder-led agency building the future of media. We have over 1000 Brainlabbers based across the global, all united through the 12 principles laid out in our Culture Code. We're full-service, with people and AI agents working side by side, all aligned to one thing: maximizing our clients' revenue through a genuinely scientific approach to media. If you want to help play your part in achieving this for the world's biggest brands in an environment that will support and challenge you in equal measure, this is where you do it.

What's the role
As an SEO Manager at Brainlabs, you'll deliver excellent work for clients and make a genuine impact on both the accounts you work on and the people around you. You'll help define how campaigns are set up and measured, spot opportunities to get more out of the work, and bring new ideas to clients using our test-and-learn approach. That includes keeping pace with how search is changing, particularly as AI-powered features and generative engines become a bigger part of the picture, and feeding that knowledge back into guidelines, playbooks and processes.

What you do
  • Using your SEO knowledge, you'll be responsible for delivering campaigns that outperform KPIs, on time and to budget.
  • You'll start to define campaign delivery plans and set meaningful measurement targets.
  • You'll track and optimise campaigns, spotting what's working and acting on what isn't.
  • You'll be a day-to-day point of contact for clients, handling tasks and deliverables with confidence.
  • You'll develop, implement and follow guidelines and processes, and contribute ideas around automation and process improvement.
  • You'll contribute to the SEO practice roadmap, including how we approach AI Search, from optimising for AI Overviews to understanding how generative engines like Perplexity and ChatGPT Search affect organic visibility.
  • You'll mentor less experienced colleagues, helping grow capability and knowledge across the practice.

Who you are
  • Strong SEO delivery track record with at least two years of experience.
  • Genuinely passionate about SEO and curious about where search is heading, including AI-powered search features and what they mean for how clients get found.
  • Demonstrable success in improving campaigns through automation, process improvements and technology adoption.
  • A good understanding of how other channels work alongside SEO.
  • A confident, engaging and authentic communicator who cares about quality and continuous learning.
  • Keen to grow the people around you.
  • Strong presentation skills, with solid data analysis and reporting ability.
  • Attentive to detail, methodical and process-led.

How you succeed
  • You live the culture code every day.
  • Campaigns are created and delivered to the right standard.
  • Internal targets on technology adoption and process improvement are met.
  • Quality assurance metrics across all campaigns you lead are hit.
  • Client satisfaction targets, both internal and external, are met.
  • Learning certifications are created and completed across the practice.
  • You're actively involved in mentoring less experienced SEO colleagues.
