Cadence ABA builds AI-native clinical software that captures ABA session data by voice, structures it into trial-by-trial mastery tracking, and drafts billable session notes so clinicians can stay present with the child instead of the tablet. We're looking for a Clinical Training Specialist to lead the onboarding and ongoing clinical education of the BCBAs, RBTs, and clinical teams who use our platform.
What you'll do
- Design and deliver training programs that help clinicians adopt Cadence's voice capture, mastery tracking, and note-drafting workflows in real sessions
- Onboard new customer accounts and clinical staff, ensuring confident, correct use of the platform from day one
- Create training materials, guides, and best-practice documentation grounded in ABA data collection standards
- Serve as a clinical subject-matter expert, translating ABA measurement concepts (trials, mastery criteria, phase changes) into practical platform usage
- Gather feedback from clinicians in training to identify product gaps or training content needs, and relay it to product and support teams
- Monitor training outcomes and adjust programs to improve clinician adoption, data quality, and documentation compliance
What we're looking for
- BCBA certification (or equivalent advanced ABA credential) strongly preferred, with hands-on clinical experience running ABA sessions
- Prior experience training, supervising, or mentoring RBTs or clinical staff
- Strong working knowledge of ABA data collection methods, mastery criteria, and session documentation (SOAP notes, CPT coding familiarity a plus)
- Comfort learning and teaching software tools; experience with EHR or clinical data platforms is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain clinical and technical concepts clearly to varied audiences
- Willingness to travel occasionally for in-person onboarding or training sessions, if required
Nice to have
- Experience training clinicians on a clinical documentation or practice management platform
- Background in adult learning, instructional design, or curriculum development
