This is a 12-week internship during summer 2027.

As an FP&A Intern, you'll join the FP&A team within the Finance organization and help power the financial planning engine behind Coinbase's revenue-generating product groups. This team delivers forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic deep dives that inform how leadership allocates resources and evaluates business health. You'll build revenue models, analyze macroeconomic drivers, and create dashboards that give cross-functional partners real-time visibility into performance across product lines.

What you'll do:

  • Build revenue forecasting models for new or existing Coinbase products, identifying macro and controllable drivers that explain and predict performance
  • Conduct quantitative deep dives on the correlation between Coinbase revenue segments and macroeconomic or crypto economy variables
  • Create dashboards summarizing key metrics to evaluate year-over-year performance across revenue lines
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Business Operations, Data, Accounting, Treasury, and Investor Relations to surface risks and opportunities

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Currently pursuing a degree or certificate in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline
  • Demonstrated financial modeling capability through coursework, projects, or prior internships, including proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Working knowledge of SQL or BI tools (Looker, Tableau) with ability to manipulate and visualize datasets independently
  • Passionate about crypto markets or digital asset business models sufficient to contextualize revenue drivers
  • Proficiency with at least one agentic coding harness (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Codex), with demonstrated ability to use it for building workflows, automating tasks, or prototyping solutions
  • Utilizes generative AI responsibly, maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality
