Job description

Confido is the AI infrastructure powering modern CPG — the platform that 200+ brands like OLIPOP, Simple Mills, Dr. Squatch, and Tropicana use to run everything from deductions to production planning. Finance, accounting, sales, and operations, unified in one system for the first time.

We're growing 5x year over year with a small team in New York City; the people who join now will shape the product, the culture, and the company itself.

If you want your work on shelves everywhere — and outsized ownership while you build — we'd love to meet you.

Today, we sell 2 products: (1) an accounting automation product that helps brands automate more than 1 million transactions a year and (2) a forecasting product that helps brands forecast more than $1B in retail sales.

Confido will grow more than 4x this year, while growing headcount by 2x. We're obsessed with concentrating our best leads with world class sellers.

What you’ll do:

  • Build target account lists: Identify the brands that should be Confido customers and turn them into focused, high-quality prospecting lists

  • Prospect and run outbound: Reach decision-makers through sharp, personalized outreach via written and over the phone. Run your own sequences end to end

  • Own your book: Carry a large book of accounts in your name, prioritize the right contacts, and generate real pipeline for the sales team

  • Learn the CPG buyer: Get deep on how consumer brands operate and the problems Confido solves for them

What we're looking for:

  • Relevant experience: 1+ year meeting and exceeding quota in an SDR/BDR role, or 1+ year in consulting, investment banking, or investing

  • All-in work ethic: You're driven, competitive, and energized by a team that works hard and celebrates the wins together

  • Sharp communicator: You're compelling on the phone and on the page, and you stay composed when a live conversation throws you a curveball

  • Curious and prepared: You ask sharp questions, do your homework, and form your own point of view rather than waiting to be told

  • Strong follow-through: You chase the things that matter and don't let threads drop

  • Analytical: You measure what's working and adapt to feedback

  • Bonus: Experience in CPG or familiarity with how consumer brands operate

Location & travel

  • New York City Based: This role is based full time in our New York City (Chelsea) office, with regular travel across the US to conferences, industry events, and customer sites. Relocation assistance is provided.

🌴 Perks + Benefits

  • Equity — own a meaningful piece of the company you’re helping build

  • Fully paid health coverage through Aetna — we cover 100% of employee premiums

  • Top-tier dental and vision coverage through Guardian

  • Carrot Fertility Pro — comprehensive fertility and family-forming support

  • 12 weeks of paid parental leave

  • Unlimited PTO — plus regular 4-day holiday weekends we actually take

  • 401(k) through Vestwell

  • Paid relocation support — we’ll help you make the move to NYC

  • Fully equipped workspace from day one — laptop, monitor, keyboard, and a $200 stipend to personalize your setup

  • Team perks — catered Friday lunches, team dinners, and unlimited coffee + snacks featuring products from the brands we work with
