What You’ll Do

As a Customer Support Representative, you will support office equipment services and customer operations across campus. Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide customer support for office products, reprographics services, and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and coordinate equipment repairs with vendors
  • Conduct market research and assist with customer outreach and presentations
  • Visit equipment locations regularly to track usage, restock supplies, and assist users
  • Train customers on proper use of equipment and provide demonstrations
  • Maintain and monitor supply inventory for equipment and services
  • Prepare reports on equipment usage, service activity, and customer needs
  • Assist with equipment setup, delivery, and basic accounting processes

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ~2 years of experience in customer service, office support, or equipment maintenance
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Basic knowledge of clerical and accounting principles
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently

Anticipated Pay Range: Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $20.00 to USD $25.01. Duke University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position; candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills; internal peer equity; as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
