The Egyptian Hockey League (EHL) is the official organized ice hockey league in Egypt, founded in 2021 and headquartered in Cairo. The league runs competitive seasons, player development programmes, and community outreach to grow ice hockey from Cairo to Alexandria, and it is currently working toward IIHF recognition. We're looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help tell the league's story and support its growth across the country.
What you'll do
- Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns around EHL match days, tournaments, and league announcements
- Coordinate content creation and scheduling across social media channels and the league website
- Assist with writing and distributing news updates, match recaps, and promotional materials
- Help manage the official merchandise store and promote product drops, such as jerseys and kits
- Track marketing performance metrics and compile reports for the leadership team
- Coordinate with clubs, officials, and partners to gather content and promote league initiatives, including learn-to-skate programmes and community outreach
What we're looking for
- Prior experience in a marketing, communications, or content coordination role
- Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone across news, social, and promotional content
- Comfort working with social media platforms and basic content scheduling tools
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines around a live game schedule
- Interest in sports marketing or grassroots sports development
- Ability to work collaboratively with clubs, volunteers, and league staff
Nice to have
- Experience working with a sports league, club, or federation
- Familiarity with basic graphic design or video editing tools
- Interest in or knowledge of ice hockey
