The Egyptian Hockey League (EHL) is the official organized ice hockey league in Egypt, founded in 2021 and headquartered in Cairo. The league runs competitive seasons across its clubs, along with player development programmes and community outreach to grow the sport nationally. We're looking for a Team Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a club competing in the EHL, working closely with coaching staff, players, and league administration to keep the team running smoothly on and off the ice.
What you'll do
- Coordinate team logistics including travel, ice time, equipment, and game-day operations
- Serve as the primary point of contact between players, coaching staff, and league officials
- Manage team schedules, rosters, and communications with players and parents/guardians where applicable
- Track and maintain equipment inventory, ensuring gear is available and in good condition for practices and games
- Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and vendor coordination for team-related needs
- Support compliance with league rules, registration deadlines, and eligibility requirements
What we're looking for
- Prior experience in a team management, operations, or administrative role, ideally in sports
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple moving parts under tight timelines
- Comfortable communicating with players, coaches, parents, and league staff professionally
- Ability to work flexible hours around games, practices, and travel schedules
- Basic budgeting and expense-tracking skills
- Familiarity with ice hockey rules and team operations is a plus

- Experience working with a start-up or early-stage sports league
- Background in event or travel coordination
- Bilingual in Arabic and English
